Thanks everyone for playing the August Contest!

    Quiz Question:

Why does ball position vary with clubs?

ANSWER is B. Length of shaft

Above all else, the length of the shaft is what dictates ball position. The length of the shaft is responsible for the club bottoming out in varying spots in your swing. Example, the driver is the longest shaft in the bag. Now granted, it doesn't actually bottom out on the grass, but its lowest point is farther up in your stance. If you played the ball as you would a 7-iron, you'd discover low flying balls that go nowhere. In fact, that's what happened to me!
